Sweet! Chocolate dominates romantic wine pairings in North Georgia


What ahead for Georgia wine lovers:
-February weekends: Three Sisters Vineyards. 2011 Wine and chocolate lovers celebration. First three weekends of the month.
-Feb. 5-6: BlackStock Vineyards and Winery continues blues weekend celebration. Live music, big fire, wine and winter menu at Corkscrew Cafe.
-Feb. 11-13: Montaluce Winery and Estates:  Special menu each night, 5:30-9:30 p.m. Three-course meal with two wine pairing options. $75 to $85.
-Feb. 12:  Tiger Mountain Vineyards. Annual chocolate and wine pairings for Valentine's - special guitar music in the tasting room.
-Feb. 12: Crane Creek Vineyards, Valentines and Wine weekend, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. $5.
-Feb. 12:   Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Prelude to Valentine's Day, 5-9 p.m.
-Feb. 12: Frogtown Cellars. Valentine's Dinner, 6:30 p.m.  Four-course dinner, paired with wines and dessert. $55 per person.
-Feb. 13: Frogtown Cellars. Valentine's Brunch, 12:30 p.m.  Three-course brunch, paired with wines and dessert. $45 per person.
-Feb. 13: Wolf Mountain Vineyards:  Valentine's Brunch, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. seatings, $30 per person. Southern favorites.
-Feb. 19:  Tiger Mountain Vineyards. Celebrate President's Day weekend with wine tastings, artisan cheeses, hors d'oeuvres and live music.
-March 18-20: Fifth Annual Wine Highway Weekend. More details soon.
