Persimmon Creek Vineyards ending sales, production at Rabun County, Ga., venues

Oct. 4 media release: Persimmon Creek Vineyards has enjoyed a wonderful reputation in the national wine industry. Thanks to our customers and guests we have been able to grow in the production and enjoyment of fine wines produced in Rabun County, Georgia.
Persimmon Creek Vineyards has made a very difficult decision, one very heavy to the hearts of the Hardman family. We will soon discontinue production and sales of our wines in order to pursue new endeavors. This decision does not come easily as we have put our hearts and souls into our wines during the past ten years.
We sincerely thank all of our customers for their support and patronage.
Persimmon on the Square  (28 East Savannah Street, 706.212.7380) will be open for normal business through October 15th. Business hours are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 to 5 PM. Closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
The Vineyard will be open every Saturday in October from 11 AM to 5 PM for tastings and wine purchases. Please call 706.212.7380 for directions.
The wines that we have currently available are in very limited quantities. Wines that are currently available for purchase are Seyval Blanc 2009,    Natural Fermentation Seyval Blanc 2010, Riesling 2009 and Merlot 2010..
