| What ahead for Georgia wine lovers: - Aug. 3: Winemaker who helped create Captain Crunch, ranch dressing due at Riverside Gourmet tasting in Rome, Ga.: Chaim Gur-Arieh, the owner and winemaker of C G DiArie Vineyards in California, will be the special guest of the Aug. 3 wine tasting at Riverside Gourmet, 250 Broad St., Rome, Ga. What can you say about a food scientist who helped develop the popular cereal, fruit cups and even had a hand in Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing and Power Bars. The free tasting begins at 6:30 p.m. -Aug. 20: Tomato Festival. Crane Creek Vineyards, Young Harris. 11a.m. to 6 p.m. Music provided by Cornbread Ted and The Butterbeans. Tickets sold at the door: adults $20; ages 13-20, $10; children under 12 free. -Sept. 3: Crush Fest is a day-long harvest festival at Yonah Mountain Vineyard "celebrating second grape harvest of Yonah Mountain Vineyards - Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Crush Fest is held at the vineyard near Cleveland and will feature grape stomping, vineyard wagon tours and wine tasting.
